How to Invent

Here is a simple guide as to how the Inventing system works:

1. First you need to find a recipe, this can be from a shop or creature drop.
2. Read the recipe via your Backpack - it will then be listed in the 'Inventing' page (found in the Action menu).
3. The recipe will be destroyed when you read it, but you only need to read any given recipe once.
4. If you then click on a learned recipe, it will show you the items and / or components required, and the item that it will make if you are successful
5. Some recipes have a greater chance of success than others - shown at the bottom of the recipe.
6. Upon creating the item, it is delivered to your item mailbox for collection.

Notes

• If you fail when attempting to invent, all the items and/or components use are destroyed.
• Components are obtained from Resources. Note that multiple different components can be extracted from a single resource. It is also possible for this to fail, wasting the Resource.
• Note that required items (if any) must not be guild locked.
• If you are using an item - it will lose any forging/crafting levels applied to it (note that non-forged items will be used first).

You can gain recipes from various sources - by completing quests, purchasing them in a shop, from creature drops or as prizes in the PvP arena.

The following resources are rendered into components by clicking them (with a chance you will fail to render them). Some of the resources can render more than one component. All component names are based on the name of their resource.
